“Women are always saying,’We can do anything that men can do’ but men should be saying,’We can do anything that women can do.'” Fabulous Fridays featuring Bulawayo’s finest Queens is a show set to Celebrate And Empower Women in the Bulawayo Entertainment Industry, hence it features some of the most influential female acts in Bulawayo music circles , i.e Novuyo Seagirl , Qeqe , Mignonne, Letty , Dorcas and some of Bulawayo’s beauty pageants.
It’s the first show to be hosted by Queen Tasha (Whin Quin) and BlaQDiva Queen. One can go as far to declare that it’s one of the first mega shows to be hosted by a youthful independent female artists in Bulawayo. On an interview with Queen Tasha she stated that it is a self promoted event supported by the Hockey management team therefore the event will take palace at Khumalo Hockey Stadium, Bulawayo on the 2nd of August 2019.
To clear the mist, one may be wondering how did Tasha and Diva got along after social media rumors articulated the duo’s we in a tussle before, “People always fight , calm down and settle their issues…I will use a biblical illusion that says forgive and forget hence we settled our issues and got back on the track …” Queen Tasha said to dismantle the tattle.
The Queen assured they will be hosting Fabulous Fridays every week if the reception is in their favor, “Yes if everything goes well, we gonna be hosting Fabulous Fridays at the Hockey Stadium weekly- summer is around the corner so we got banger events lined up…” she said. Currently the hostesses are promising to give us projects throughout the half year, ” We’re working on solo projects ( tracks and videos ) as individual artists and we also working on some projects together. We promise people the best year and we would greatly appreciate their support …” she said.
“Women are not the weak, frail little flowers that they are advertised. There has never been anything invented yet, including war, that a man would enter into, that a woman wouldn’t, too.”—Will Rogers. You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation least we can do is go out in numbers and support the Duo Queens.
