Fak’umoya is an Afro Trap fusion composed by Lamas Ellz along side Bulawayo’s Ndaramu Trap King Fish F. McSwagg.
” The track speaks about the struggles and the current economic turmoils we are experiencing as Zimbabweans and it comes as an encouraging tool to those of us who feel like it’s impossible to live on, it comes as that nudge of motivation, it tells u that no matter how difficult it will get, u have to keep working and pushing hard, the doors to well being and success will open up…” the artist said on an interview with excellence-music.com.
The Video was shot by Keatsi films (Creative Port) in the Bulawayo Northern Suburb,Queens park and some shots in the City Center; in the Video they portray a story of young teen empowerment, thus, in the visuals we see two young boys making their way to the city, supporting and helping each other to achieve for greatness, as the song Fak’ umoya speaks.
The Video starred the Royal Records team and T3rry Tempo who is also a part of the team. The young characters played by Dylan and Destiny Nleya (Lamas’ brothers) further explains the artist’s journey and achievements in the diary of his life.
We also hear Fish F McSwagg on his opening verse telling a native story flexibly blending into the song adding a sweet caramel to the song. The video is meant to show the world that even through trials and persecutions you still need to brace up and never lose hope. “Life’s a long journey, hence we do need to expect the ups nd downs along the way…”, so he said.
The artist never got to explain why on the official audio we had artists like BlaQ Diva Quin and Guluva Se7en but we never got to see them on the official video.
